About Edith Wolfe

Edith Wolfe was born on a ranch near Bozeman, Montana. She retreated from the harsh realities of farm life to her pen and paper, where she created alternate realities in image. From a young age, she knew being an artist was her calling.

Edith graduated Suma Cum laude from the University of California with a B.A.  in Studio Art, with an emphasis on Oriental Art History. Her continuing education includes a passionate study of Carl Jung's writings.

Edith combines dream imagery with the complex compositions of an academically trained artist. Her content is intuitive, symbolic, and understood in terms of the jungian paradigm—image as the language of the unconscious.

Edith's earlier work is signed with her former surname, Schenkel.
